BOILERMAN CUM TECHNICIAN

Description
Duties & Responsibilities
a) Perform general maintenance duties on buildings and machines.
b) Be able to perform preventative maintenance on the machines.
c) Assists in servicing and replacing minor plumbing fixtures.
d) Performs minor electrical work not requiring a licensed electrician such as replacing light bulbs and fuses.
e) Assists in minor carpentry and repair work.
f) Maintain machinery, equipment, and tools by cleaning, lubricating, greasing, and/or oiling to ensure optimum working order.
g) Applies paint, varnish, and stain to all types of surfaces in order to protect and beautify surfaces using appropriate tools and equipment.
h) Performs related duties as required example travel outside to support urgent purchase or repair.
i) Follow Plant specified job specification and task list.
j) Work rotation shift.
k) Attend to an emergency call to return back to the factory when activated by the Management.
l) Other ad-hoc duties and responsibilities as assigned the Management

During Morning Shift:
 Turn On the factory facilities utilities (power supply, lighting, compressed air system, water pump and boiler system,
 Record the factory utilities (water, electrical usage, and tunnel output),
 Address any flatwork guide tape problem.
 Check for any signs of a leak or potential safety risk and investigate.

During Night Shift:
 Check the dryer for any leftover laundry item and remove it if found,
 Turn Off the boiler system,
 Record the factory utilities (water and electrical usage),
 Turn Off the factory utilities (water, electrical isolator, air compressor system and lighting)

2) Qualifications & Experiences
a) Minimum ITE Higher NITEC Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics
b) At least one year of experiences in handling and repairing equipment and machines
c) Advantageous with boilerman class 2 cert
