DCS System Engineer

Job Description

Responsible for DCS System (Centum VP software) engineering activities from FEED (Front End Engineering & Design) till completion of Project.

Interface with EPC/End Users for system integration /application engineering activities.

Provide value-added engineering solutions to meet EPC/End-users' expectations, such as integration with 3rd Party systems, Network security etc.

Responsible for engineering standardization with Quality requirements.

Develop Basic & Detailed Design specifications for Controls, HMI, 3rd Party Sub-systems integration, Foundation Field bus, Wireless, System Sizing including L2/L3 network design, Test Procedures.

Supervise/participate in the Application engineering generation and debugging activities.

Conduct Software Prototype / Factory Acceptance Test / 3rd Party subsystem interface tests / site Acceptance tests.

Participate in the internal work process improvement activities.

Knowledge of PIMS (Exaquantum) is preferred.

Job Requirements:

Degree in Electrical and Electronic / Power (Electrical or Instrumentation) from a recognised tertiary institution.

Minimum 5 years of related working experience in DCS Engineering activities and at least 2 years of experience in a Lead position for OIl & Gas/Petrochemicals / Offshore / Power Projects.

Prior experience in ICS application configuration, Computer networking, 3rd Party Subsystems integration.

Experience on Yokogawa's systems, Field-bus engineering, OPC integration, will be an added advantage.

Ability to multi-task to meet the project delivery requirements.

Process control systems and Instrumentation knowledge.

Design Thinking and innovation.

Hands-on and experienced skilled and knowledge is a must and advantage.
