HVAC Technician"#SGUnitedTraineeship"#SGUP"

Traineeship Description: This position reports to the Project Manager.

The HVAC technician will provide technical advice and service such LV Electrical, HVAC, purified water, compressed air, cooling water, nitrogen gas, breathing air, refrigeration system, wastewater treatment as per

assigned by the projects and Maintenance Team (Client). He/she

will also perform SAP PM Tasks, troubleshooting, repair all live

plant equipment.

Specific Responsibilities: Trainee to be involved in:

1. Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on Utilities

system such as HVAC, purified water, compressed air, cooling

water, nitrogen gas, breathing air, refrigeration system,

wastewater treatment, building management system etc.

2. Install electrical circuits, staging, control panels as required for

plant or process modifications.

3. Sound knowledge of the practices, procedures, and techniques

essential to the maintenance of plant instruments.

4. Perform required maintenance duties as needed on an on-call

basis as scheduled.

5. Set-up and update maintenance programmes and schedules.

6. Repair and maintain HAVC systems.

7. Perform weekly inspection and take an inventory of tools and

equipment and submit requisition to replace broken or missing

items.

8. Lead shift activities / team building/good communication skills

9. Participate shutdown work planning and execution

10. Perform spare parts planning and follow up with vendor

11. Assist commissioning / start-up during the project phase

12. Initiate and prepares hand-over to the

subordinate/contractors, ensure all maintenance checks are

completed & documented (adhere to company standards for

equipment installation)

13. Ensure compliance with EHS Group guidelines/guidance notes

and local regulations safety awareness / best working practice.
