Job Description

General Description:


The position of Project Engineer is responsible for security equipment installation, testing, commissioning and system programming in according to ICD’s standards. Ensuring good engineering project quality. Maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.


Major responsibilities include:


  • System design, diagrams according to client requirements
  • Diagrams update after HO.
  • Site inspections. Coordination with PM, client (when needed), third parties.
  • Ensure quality of ICD services following company standards and policies strictly, to deliver prompt and efficient response to all service requests within assigned region.
  • Programming, Testing & Commission, trouble shooting.
  • Product pre-testing.
  • Preparing project ‘engineering package’ according to standard.
  • Ensure quality of ICD services following company standards and policies strictly, to deliver prompt and efficient response to all service requests within assigned region.
  • Manage service sub-contractors and ensure them following up ICD standards and policies.
  • Attend internal training, improve skills.


Main Responsibilities:

  • Security system design, building diagrams using AutoCAD & BIM
  • Deliver / complete drawings & project on schedule, economically and to client’s satisfaction, and standards for both Singapore project and international project.
  • Security equipment installation, testing, commissioning and system programming in accordance to ICD's policy and standards
  • Involve in project management
  • Assisting and providing technical support to Sales and other departments
  • System troubleshooting and problem-solving
  • Maintain high level of knowledge in security concept
  • Service security systems and provide services to our clients. Troubleshooting and solving problems.
  • Ensure Customer satisfaction.
  • To be proficient in our products and technology. Always improve ability.
  • Manage relationship with existing clients


Qualification:

  • Bachelor degree or above in Electronic, Computer, Automation or Mechanical Engineering
  • Knowledge in BIM & Autocad
  • Min 3 years or above related working experience in security, electronic or small electronic project implementation and commissioning, preferably in a multinational environment
  • Basic IT knowledge in security hardware, network and database
  • Familiar with security access control system, CCTV and alarm system products / systems is an advantage
  • Must be willing to work on-site
  • Candidates have project management experience is an advantage
  • Good communication and coordination skills
  • Client service oriented
  • Quick learner
