Job Description


  • Head and Lead New Product Introduction (NPI), Technology Transfer, Process Improvement, and Develop R&D roadmap.
  • Formulate and develop new products by carrying out application trials and evaluating product performance while ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Generate Bill of Material / Recipe and Detail manufacturing process.
  • Plan, organize, and oversee process or production trials and process validation of personal care and cosmetics products.
  • Interact with raw material suppliers to understand technicalities of raw materials and for procurement of RM for prototypes or pilot batch.
  • Conduct product stability, packaging compatibility, formula safety assessment, and efficacy testing, and accurate trending of results.
  • Develop and update product Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and Product Information Files (PIF).
  • Work with the engineering team to resolve technical issues arising during the production of products or for investigation of feedbacks.
  • Take corrective and preventive actions on customer complaints by ensuring details are recorded and monitored and investigate products that fail compliance standards.


  • Degree in Chemistry or equivalent, specializing in Personal Care and Cosmetic products.
  • Minimum 5 years of working experience/background in personal care and cosmetic manufacturing industry.
  • Strong and thorough knowledge of personal care production and processing.
  • Strong understanding of how to develop base formulation and functions of raw materials.
  • Strong communication skills to manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Able to resolve complex problems in a timely and effective manner.
  • Possess a high sense of responsibility.
  • The candidate must be willing to work at Tai Seng upon joining and at Tuas subsequently.
