Job Description

Strategic Capabilities:

  • Pre-sales technical support to achieve design wins for immediate opportunities and expand the regional business regionally
  • Provide and support regionally on Technical related matters and to new business creation projects
  • Develop and Drive the development of new Design in opportunities
  • Conduct standard & customized product presentation
  • Provide technical contents & ideas for marketing materials
  • Design and create application based technical marketing ideas and materials for business creation
  • Track on new design in opportunities and activities until completion
  • Act as an enabler to build multi-level and function relationship between customer & company stakeholders (Product marketing, Business development and Sales)
  • Align strategic opportunities with the Interconnect Business Development and Product Marketing team to discuss promotional strategy and activities
  • All other required duties & tasks set by the Company management

Operational Capabilities:

  • Build a good understanding of the businesses' products or services and be able to advise others about them
  • Brand ambassador to pitch products and/or services to customers
  • Ensure the knowledge of all relevant products and or services within the BU are updated consistently
  • Maintain a healthy design in project pipeline in an assigned target segment
  • Identify white spots at customer and work closely with marketing to bring in new product lines to fill these white spots
  • Input new project opportunity to CRM software and update the project information on a regular basis.

Position Specification

  • Diploma/Degree in Electronics/Mechanical Engineering
  • More than 2 years in Technical and Application functions
  • Good understanding in customer engagement and with Sales experience will be an added advantage
  • Preferably the candidate to have working experience & knowledge in the Interconnect, Electro-mechanical industry
  • Experience and background in the following segments: Military and Defence, Transportation and/or Rail
  • Experience in Medical, Aerospace or Aviation market segment will be an added advantage
  • Good analytical, organizing and interpersonal skills
  • Cultural sensitivity
  • Hunter personality (aggressive, achievement orientation, and high energy level)
  • Excellent communication and customer engagement skills.
  • Independent, self-motivated and results-oriented professional.
  • Active listener with Strong problem-solving skills, good hands-on skills
