Job Description

JOB RESPONSIBITIES

You will be part of a dynamic team within the Technology & Cyber Risk Supervision Department in MAS that is responsible for strengthening the cyber resilience of Singapore’s financial sector, and supervising financial institutions in their technology risk management (TRM) and business continuity management (BCM) practices.

In this particular role, the officer will be involved in the following areas of work:

  • Oversee MAS’ BCM supervisory framework and policies (e.g. MAS BCM guidelines) for the financial sector
  • Conduct on-site inspections and off-site reviews of financial institutions to assess their BCM
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to drive projects and initiatives on BCM and cyber resilience for the financial sector
  • Engage and establish arrangements with other financial authorities and international standards setting bodies for bilateral and multi-lateral cyber collaboration
  • Staff MAS principals in international meetings and discussions on financial sector cyber and operational resilience

JOB REQUIREMENTS


  • Keen interest in pursuing a career related to BCM and cyber resilience.

  • Effective team player who is also able to work independently and possesses good communication, interpersonal and project management skills.

  • Knowledge of MAS’ guidelines, notices and initiatives on BCM and cyber would be beneficial.

  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. Mid-careerists with relevant working experience in a related field will be considered for more senior positions.

  • Candidates with relevant professional qualification or certification, or with past working experience involving international relations, will be considered favourably.
