Accounts Executive

Responsibilities:

• Handling the full spectrum of accounting, including overseeing accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, inventory and general ledger functions.
• Preparing monthly bank reconciliations, monthly inter-company reconciliations, monthly closing of accounts, audit and tax schedules
• Checking and verifying all documentations (inter-company payment approvals, payment vouchers, purchase orders, financial statements, customer credit applications, etc.)
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, statutory reporting requirements and financial accounting regulations.
• Liaising with auditors and bankers

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least an ACCA, Degree or Diploma in Accountancy, Finance or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year of experience in commercial accounting
• Knowledgeable in local tax laws and accounting standards
• Well organized and meticulous
• Responsible and positive working attitude
• Analytical and detailed-oriented
• Experience in the manufacturing or construction sector would be advantageous but not a must
• Experience in SAP would be advantegeous but not a must
