Assistant General Manager

Job Description

• Responsible for the implementation of Company's strategies
• Support development of business expansion strategy for existing and new product categories
• Manage and develop Company's key functional teams and operations
• Establish and improve trade infrastructure; including, risk management (credit, market & operational risk) & associated operating procedures/systems
• Manage business control activities
• Drive process improvement and efficiency
• Participate in project planning/execution, equity investments and long term pre-financing projects
• Partner HR in spearheading Company's workforce initiatives

Job Requirements

• Bachelor degree or equivalent
• Minimum 15 years of experience in commodities trading (non-ferrous metal) and management of trading teams/functions
• Ability to formulate and implement group development strategy
• Sound daily business operation management skills
• Ability to establish and manage financial institution/bank relationships
• Proficiency in risk control management
• Business portfolio and industrial knowledge
• Internal management and efficiency improvement
• Ability to draw up innovative proposals and exercise business leadership
