Job Description

A Business Application Consultant plays a critical part for the project management teams. Business Application Consultant will lead the development team and be involved in all phases of the development life cycle. He/ She will work closely with business analysts and project managers in using languages such as Java, C++, VB or SQL to configure Temenos Triple’A system according to clients’ requirements. Application consultant may also test, debug and improve generally faulty applications.


Responsibilities:

· Ability to lead a Development team in projects

· Contributes in all phases of the development lifecycle

· Works with project managers and analysts to understand the requirements

· Configures Temenos Triple’A system according to clients’ requirements; includes creation of screens, formats, workflows in GUI

· Performs unit testing for the Portfolio Management system used by the client

· Prepares Technical Requirement documents including mapping documents

· Performs on-site implementation/configuration tasks for their private bank clients; includes coding and designing

· Writes well designed, testable, and efficient codes

· Ensures designs are in compliance with specifications

· Prepares and products releases of software components

· Assists in testing and resolving issues

· Provides Triple’A basic training to new hires


Requirements:

· Degree in Computer Science/Infocomm Technology

· 5 years of experience in programming, eg Java, VB or SQL development

· 5 years of experience in developing customizations for Triple’A Plus, specifically in the areas of scripts and formats

· Good knowledge in Oracle/Sybase Database

· Experience in end-to-end development

· Good communication skills to work effectively with team members and clients

· Able to work independently and as part of a team

· Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skill

· Ability to handle multi-task in cross-functional teams and a flexible team player

· Knowledge in reporting tools or Private banking/ Wealth Management domain will be advantage
