Job Description

Job Description:

· Liaise closely with insurance company on claims

· Assist in all administration facets of claims processing

· Proactive management of claims, timely processing & management of claims, claim administration

· Work with internal / external customers on insurance claim issues

· Maintain the records, reports and file

· Explain and ensure customer understand the claim process

· Ensure customer understand what is own damage / 3rd party claim

· Represent customer to prepare and submit estimation in repair cost

· Represent customer negotiate with the insurers on the insurance coverage and the repair cost

· Coordinate and manage the paperwork and invoicing of the repair to customers and insurers

· Arrange surveyor to inspect the damaged vehicle

· Finalize the repair cost with surveyor and send LOD (loss of use) to insurers

· Perform ad hoc duties as assigned by supervisors

· Check price for spare part and compare price with at least 2 suppliers

· Liaise with admin / case handler for cost estimate

· Parts ordering

· Assist admin / case handler to attend surveyor together

· Photo taking


· Minimum 2 - 3 year experience in insurance claim processing

· Minimum 'O’ Levels qualifications

· Excellent written and oral communication

· Pro-Active and Flexible

· Computer literacy – MS Office ie Word and Excel

· Self-motivated individual with strong sense of responsibility

· Independent and yet a team player

· Interested in motor claim as a career

· Good interpersonal skills

· Possess a valid class 3 driving license
