The Asia-Pacific Client Relations and Business Development Team is based in Singapore and represents the firm in the region, where we work together with clients and internal stakeholders to develop bespoke investment solutions for investors.  The team works with our investment professionals to implement our strategies and share the firm’s investment insights with our clients in a timely manner.

As a Client Relationship Team Assistant, you will be a key partner within our tight-knit team. The successful candidate will joining an entrepreneurial and dynamic team which thrives on delivering outstanding client service, as well as taking a hands-on approach to resolving client requests. In addition, you will be a partner in our efforts to develop the firm’s presence in the region by helping to drive business growth and ensuring operational excellence.

The Role

This position prepares the successful candidate for a career in the challenging and rewarding Institutional and Wholesale Investment Management industry. The successful candidate will report to the Head of the Asia-Pacific Region and supports the Client Relations and Business Development Team. The role will also interact heavily with other global teams such as Risk, Finance and HR. In addition, the role will also be responsible for the management and administration of the dedicated regional office, as well as the organization and planning of business travel arrangements.

We are looking for a service-oriented individual looking to enter the client-facing side of the investment management industry. Strong initiative and a keen willingness to learn are essential for the role, as is integrity and attention to detail.  Candidates with experience in frequent international travel and some regional language abilities are preferred.

3)  Plan, Schedule and Organize Roadshows / Business Travel Arrangements; and

4)  Office Administration and Management

Consideration for a permanent role with greater responsibilities within the team will be given upon successful completion of the traineeship.

Eligibility Criteria

SGUnited Traineeships Programme

Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident; and

a. Graduated or graduating in calendar year 2019 or 2020 from universities, or other educational institutions (e.g. private universities and overseas institutions); or

b. Graduated earlier from above institutions and completed National Service in 2019 or 2020

Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident, with the exception of recent graduates who should apply for the SGUnited Traineeships Programme instead
