The Role Responsibilities
Strategy
ParticIpate in industry and regulatory consultations
Business
Liaise with line of business teams (T&I and businesses) to provide guidance and clarity, including constant improvements. Liaise with Country Compliance, R&C and CTM teams to enable Cloud delivery into countries to support the strategy. Manage cloud assessments, reporting, and third-party risk. Needs to be analytical with attention to detail. Data extraction and presentation (eg SQL and Tableau) an advantage.

Operate the Cloud Governance Framework
Risk Management
Manage and report against all risks from a Cloud perspective via the Cloud Governance Framework and the Cloud Governance Council.
Governance
Operate the Cloud Governance Framework. Run and operate the Cloud Working Group to ensure that all relevant Risk and Control owners participate and co-ordinate changes across the disparate frameworks in the Bank. Secretary of the Cloud Governance Council. Participate in the SDF working group and the CIO Risk Management Forum
Regulatory & Business Conduct
Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct.
Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
Work with the Group Cloud Governance Framework to achieve the outcomes set out in the Bank’s Conduct Principles: Fair Outcomes for Clients; Effective Financial Markets; Financial Crime Compliance; The Right Environment.
Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.

Public Cloud; Operational Risk; CISRO; Compliance (Country, Group, Privacy and Regulatory Liaison); Legal; Supply Chain; Resilience; CSS; TS-STS

Our Ideal Candidate
Minimum of 3-5 years experience
ITIL Foundation certified, Basic Cloud skills, IT Governance
Information Security policy and Strategy
Data Management
Service Delivery and Operations Management
Third Party Risk Management
