The Role Responsibilities

Play a project manager role in planning and delivering projects

Manage and guide the work of Associates and Associate Directors throughout their project assignments and help with their professional development

Drive strategy team initiatives (e.g., recruiting, volunteering, training)

Our Ideal Candidate

The ideal skill set would combine financial services knowledge with a ‘consulting toolkit’ (preferably from a top consulting firm) and 8 years of working experience. Typical candidates would be Project Manager or Engagement Manager level or equivalent if in Banking.

Banking consulting experience with a top tier firm and/or with strategy functions of leading banks

Emerging markets knowledge or experience preferred (especially in Asia, Africa or Middle East)

Comfortable working in a relatively unstructured, project-based and multi-cultural environment

Engage senior stakeholders across the bank on projects

Play a project manager role in planning and delivering projects. This includes agreeing on end products with the MDs and senior stakeholders, managing the project timelines tightly to deliver the agreed output and providing guidance to team members and other colleagues to ensure an aligned and collaborative approach. It also includes driving the thought process through collaborative and data-driven problem solving

Manage and guide the work of Associates and Associate Directors throughout their project assignments and help with their professional development. This includes, defining and structuring the required analyses, supporting the Associates and Associate Directors in running the analyses and sense-making, assessing the quality of outputs and ensuring that these are driving towards the desired outcome of the project
