The Role Responsibilities

The successful candidate will work with various stakeholders across the network, to prioritise and implement ideas which build on our 3 sustainability pillars:

• Sustainable Finance - Impact Finance, Climate Change, Infra, Commerce

• Responsible Company - People, Conduct, Environment

• Inclusive Communities - Community Engagement


• Develop and maintain key project management tools such as project schedules, risks and issues registers, dependency mapping, budget and forecast, resource plan.

• Prepare status reporting as required for stakeholder requirements.

• Actively contribute to the development and administration of the program PMO governance and standards.

• Develop and maintain project systems such as Clarity, SharePoint and the Bridge.

• Identify and assess project interdependencies (dependency type, profile, specifications and timelines) to determine the critical path and control standards.

• Measure outcomes on Change initiatives/ programme post-implementation to evaluate benefits realisation.

• Identify and resolve project plan execution (budget, work activities, timeline) risks.

• Identify and actively engage with various key stakeholders to ensure the success of the project.

Risk Management

• Ensure all project documentation is managed and stored within the program governance standards


• Develop and maintain the required project governance for the projects or programme supported.

• Implement governance standards across the programme, including tracking, monitoring and updating the status of programme deliverables.

Regulatory & Business Conduct

• Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct.

• Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.

• Be part of the Sustainability team to achieve the outcomes set out in the Bank’s Conduct Principles: Fair Outcomes for Clients; Effective Financial Markets; Financial Crime Compliance; The Right Environment.

• Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.

Our Ideal Candidate

• 3 years of prior PMO or project experience ideally in a front office banking environment. The working environment demands an ability to work in a fast-paced manner, while providing quality work output and will require someone who can cope well under pressure while keeping a positive / upbeat attitude.

• Good understanding of Agile, project lifecycle and management standards.

• Driven, organized, results-oriented with an ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Possesses excellent accuracy and attention to detail

• Advantageous: Experience in Clarity for Project tracking and reporting/reports generation

• Advantageous: Experience in large global scale Programme management
