Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

HSQE matters:

  • Support HSQE programs within the corporate office and monitor their status, providing reports at periodic intervals.
  • Conduct compliance checks with the Company’s document control matrix to ensure all documentations are stored in their designated repository platform.
  • Provide support in internal and external audits and management review.
  • Maintain and revise the Company’s Integrated Management System periodically.
  • Maintain the Company’s legal register by keeping abreast with international conventions, local regulations, and liaising with regional business units.
  • Review processes with the objective of moving towards digitalization and automation of processes

Training matters:

  • Gather the appropriate training material applicable to a subject matter, such as through research and discussion with subject matter experts and refine it into easy to grasp concepts.
  • Development of training content packages appropriate to the mode of delivery, such as via e-learning courses, physical workshops, or on-the-job training and assessment record books.
  • Prepare and facilitate the conduct of applicable training, such as scheduling the training session, booking an appropriately sized and equipped meeting room, and sending the notification invite the relevant parties involved.
  • Liaise with various stakeholders and external parties for any training requirements that cannot be fulfilled in-house.
  • Maintain the library of developed training resources and content.
  • Administer the day-to-day activities on the Company’s learning management system, such as account management and program enrollment, and generation of training statistics and reports.

Ad-hoc matters:

  • Perform any ad-hoc HSQE / Training projects or tasks delegated by the Group HSQE / Training Manager

Job Requirements:

  • Degree holder preferably with health, safety, and environment background; or Certificate of Competency with 2 years of onboard experience preferably in the offshore vessels.
  • Proficient in the use of Office365 applications such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Flow, and related hosted services such as Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint.
  • Advantageous to hold industry relevant certificates, e.g. DPA, CSO, ISM / ISO Internal Auditor, BLS/AED, Train the Trainer or ACTA/ACLP.
  • Familiar with the use of audio, graphic, and video manipulation software to create training content.
  • Must be fluent in English and Mandarin to develop training content relevant to regional employees.
  • Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
