Job purpose

Oversee, manage and responsible for the effective and efficient running of the Finance & Admin functions of the Company

Duties and responsibilities

Finance & Accounting

· Ensure smooth and prompt monthly closing of accounts for internal performance review and reporting to Japan HQ

· Prepare regular and ad hoc reports and analysis for management evaluation of business performance and decision making

  • Ensure effective debts collection process and meeting the DSO target
  • Prepare the annual business plan in consultation with the Managing Director, Executive Director and Business Units’ Head
  • Manage and supervise a small team of Finance, Admin and HR Assistants
  • Cash management and cash flows forecasting
  • Manage compliance requirements such as filing with and reporting to governmental agencies for GST, Income Tax Submission, Annual Filing, Licensing matters and other administrative statutory matters
  • Liaise with auditors for tax preparation and auditing
  • Ensure compliances to policies and operational procedures relating to environmental and safety issues
  • General office management, organization, and maintenance, including office supplier management, coordinating meeting, business activities support, etc

· Manage contract and price negotiations with vendors, service providers and office lease

Human Resources Management

· In- Charge of HR recruitment and operational functions

· Oversee monthly payroll activities


· Work hand-in-hand with the operations team on matters relating to the business and any other ad-hoc tasks assigned


· Degree in Accounting with at least 3 years of relevant working experiences in Accounting, Internal Control, Corporate Governance and Risk Management

· Preferably in the logistics industry and at least 2 years of supervisory/managerial position

  • Good analytical and communication skills
  • IT savvy and able to work independently
  • Open minded with strong desire to learn and grow as an individual
  • Good leadership, organization and interpersonal skills
  • Use of IT Application for Finance and HR (QuickBooks Online, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Powerpoint)
  • Bilingual (English & Chinese)
  • Understanding of MOM Regulations and Employment Laws
  • Understanding of Environmental Safety & Health issues that can occur in the business operations
  • Understanding of Business Law and Legislations
