Finance Officer

Kohup Sports is looking for a dynamic finance officer to join the growing team.

The job scope consists of, but not limited to:

• Perform and handle full set accounting which includes monthly and yearly end closing

• Perform other financial operations such as bank reconciliation, petty cash management, intercompany transactions

• Maintain fixed assets system for additions, disposals, depreciation of company fixed assets

• Computation of workers payroll - monthly and OT salary

• Perform filing and general administrative task

• Monitor and update outstanding payments, collections and recoveries

• Ensure that vendor invoices and sales invoices are posted accurately into accounting system

• Ensure compliance with the relevant accounting standards

• Liaise with auditors on various accounting queries and prepare necessary documentations (e.g. scheduling, reports) as required

• Conduct financial consolidation and present coherent financial reports

• Be the main point of contact for any finance related matters

• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by management/supervisor

Job requirements:

• Minimum a Certificate in Finance / Accountancy / Banking

• Minimum 5-6 years of experience in a similar role

• Experience in full set accounting - competent and able to work with little supervision

• Knowledge of SAP/MYOB/similar Accounting Systems

• Willing to learn on current Xero Accounting Software 

• Willing to learn about the Operations to understand and analyse the financial aspects

• Good interpersonal and communication skills

• Proactive, self-movated and able to work independently as well as part of a team

• Computer literate - experience with Microsoft Office
