Financial Analyst

Duties and Description

• Execute detailed Company      research, financial modeling, and due diligence on companies and industries to generate investment ideas
• Present investment ideas to the portfolio management team
• Assist with the preparation of presentations and other ad-hoc internal or external presentations
• Attend earnings  calls/management meetings
• Assist in market / industry / macro-economic research
• Support the team in portfolio management or  investment-related work

Experience: 3- 5 years of experience in the Financial sector.  Successful track record of achieving results through and in collaboration with team members. Proficient in understanding, analyzing, and summarizing comprehensive and complex technical, market, and research information/data. Excellent analytical, communication—both oral and written, and project management skills.

Qualifications:

• University graduate with at   least 1-4 years of relevant experience
• Strong knowledge of  accounting and financial principles
• Strong critical thinking  and analytical skills
• Solid written and verbal communication
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workload
• Ability  to coordinate multiple complex projects simultaneously
• Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint, and Word
