About SC Ventures

SC Ventures (“SCV”) was established in 2018 with the purpose of “Rewiring the DNA in Banking” by bringing three distinct areas together:

The eXellerator Lab, enabling innovation at large in the Bank by supporting intrapreneurs and their ideas, collaborating with fintech’s through the SCV Fintech Bridge and engaging with clients and co-creation ideas.

The Investment Fund (“Fund”), tasked to acquire minority stakes in fintech companies (“fintechs”) whose technology has been successfully validated in the Group.

Venture building, with the objective of exploring new business models (“ventures”), in the way it engages existing new customers and markets.

There are c.65 team members (excluding individual ventures), including dedicated colleagues from the Group’s support functions, based in Singapore, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Nairobi, London and San Francisco.

What will you be doing:

nexus is looking for a strong leader in test management to design and establish (a) the overall testing strategy that fits in with the venture delivery model, (b) drive execution of all the relevant functional testing phases and (c) build out a COE for Testing that can be adopted for any Open Banking platform. You will be responsible and be leading the end to end test management activities, which would require you to:

Manage, coordinate, and oversee the various functional test phases as mandated by bank’s unified test control framework and System Delivery Framework (SDF) and adapt it to nexus’ working ways

Provide end-to-end project delivery support, including workshop planning, conducting of workshop walkthrough, defect support, continuous validation and assisting with rollout activities..

Work with AGILE squads, Product Owner, platform integration manager and Partners to ensure that all test phases are certified on-time, within scope considering the dependencies across multiple components of delivery.

Foster strong working & collaborative relationships within the venture as well as with Bank & external stakeholders.

Effectively communicate to stakeholders the test status, highlight risks, and propose issue resolution.

Our Ideal Candidate

What do you need to be successful in this role?

A solid record of accomplishment and experience in delivering complex software delivery projects, fully adopting AGILE way of working, with significant exposure to end to end test management, functional test automation, industry standard testing tools & methodologies.

Min. 6-8 years of direct and demonstrable experience in Test Management of large, complex deliveries.

Direct and relevant experience on ‘product testing’ methodologies. Extensive experience in Preparation of Estimation, Test Strategy, Test plan, Test Scenarios, Test Scripts, Test Data, Test Summary Reports, and other.

Demonstrated leadership in being able to influence across the organization to execute the vision to enable embedded testing as part of the delivery cycle through adoption of the latest methodologies and tools.

Experience in DEVOPS, automation testing using BDD Framework and continuous integration.

Experience in Performance Testing and knowledge on the industry standards.

Proven experience in co-ordination of many dependencies and multiple demanding stakeholders in a complex, large-scale deployment environment.

Diverse knowledge and experience of working on Agile Deliveries and Scrum teams.

Bachelor’s Degree Qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology or related fields.

Exposure to cloud-based model implementation and Data.
