The Role Responsibilities

This role in the global Brand & Marketing (B&M) team, is a supporting marketing role for the HNW segment in the global Consumer, Private, Business Banking (CPBB) business. The role holder in partnership with the global and local Corporate Affairs, Brand & Marketing (CABM) teams will implement the segment marketing strategy, plan and where appropriate execution in pursuit of the 5-year strategic goals. The role is to realise the centre-of-marketing-excellence for this business, will be responsible for developing tools and sharing better practices. The role holder will use all the elements of the marketing mix, analysis, measurement as required to develop, deliver and demonstrate the performance and value of marketing activity and ultimately its contribution to the Bank’s results.

The role holder requires leadership, excellent stakeholder management and thorough knowledge, experience and skills in using the whole marketing mix, targeting HNW segments, in multiple markets in Asia.

Strategy

Deliver the global Affluent marketing strategy which supports the acceleration of the acquisition of target clients, increasing the proportion who are wealth qualified and increasing the frequency of their wealth management activity

Enable thought leadership of the affluent and wealth marketing in the global and local teams

Support the development and management of the positioning strategies for all the affluent propositions

Manage and optimise the positioning and marketing for International Banking

Create and manage copy platforms for global services eg PII to elevate the quality of communication execution

Build SC’s wealth management advisory reputation through creating and managing the content calendar for social, website, email

Business

Activate the wealth idea extensions from the brand advertising to be relevant and motivating to all affluent clients

Manage the HNW segment global (pan-market) marketing which complements local marketing

Manage the development and implementation of the affluent marketing toolkits with the markets

Enhance and optimise marketing toolkits with new global products eg PII, MyRM, WealthSaver

Manage the development of the Sustainable Investing marketing positioning and supporting toolkit

Manage pan-market activity and embed through local marketing eg for International Banking

Support the drive of client adoption of the various digital wealth tools

Processes

Provide subject matter expertise support to improving markets’ website affluent client journeys

Use data and insights to underpin ideas as well as demonstrate results of activity

Collaborate with our marketing agency partners to elevate strategic and creative solutions, with demonstratable results

Responsible for ensuring efficient and effective use of available budget

Support the growth of the next generation of marketing leaders

Raise the bar on conduct and demonstrate how we are here for good, to clients and colleagues

Lead through example and build the appropriate culture and values. Set appropriate tone and expectations across the team and work in collaboration with all partners

Risk Management

Manage marketing standards to reinforce overall SC brand positioning through consistency in tone, manner, look and feel, and gain competitive market advantage

Governance

Implement a standardised affluent marketing operating rhythm including market planning, campaign execution, performance tracking and stakeholder engagement model

Understand the regulatory framework, in which the Group operates, and the regulatory requirements and expectations relevant to the role

Our Ideal Candidate

Graduate degree in STEM subject and / or post graduate degree / MBA

8+years of Experience in strategic marketing

Good understanding and experience of multiple markets in Asia

Experienced operator in large scale brands / complex organisations

Experienced in marketing to HNW segments

Experience in financial services / wealth management
