Management Accountant

Role Summary/ Purpose

We are looking for an independent and result-oriented Management Accountant to sit within the Finance team with a focus on accounting, consolidation, and cash management.

Responsibilities

· Perform full spectrum of Accounts Receivable

· Closely monitor and follow up all outstanding payments

· Generate and review monthly reports

· Monthly AR statement issue and reconciliation with customers

· Ensure timely invoicing and billing to customers & inter-company transactions

· Verify the validity of account discrepancies

· Perform and analysis credit assessment of customers

· Maintaining accounts receivable files and records

· Review staff expenses and process expense reports

· Involve in month-end, year-end closing

· Assist statutory audit, internal audit and tax audit

· Gather and analyze financial information for internal use

· Support budgeting and funding

· Assume responsibility of accounting procedures

· Evaluate the company’s performance using key data

· Make forecasts to assist business planning and decision-making

· Conduct risk assessment and advise on ways to minimize risk

· Advise management on best finance practices

· Undertake any relevant tasks as may be directed by the superior from time to time.

Qualifications/ Requirements

· University graduate in Accounting and/or professional qualification in Accounting

· Knowledge and experience in banking returns (MAS Singapore)

· Well versed in financial accounting theory, bank accounting systems (LoanIQ, FlexCube), Regulatory system (FRS Global) and government tax (Corporate tax, GST) and accounting regulations

· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

· Team player with strong planning / analyzing skills, details oriented and high sensitivity to timeline

· Familiarity with trade finance and/or banking products would be an advantage
