Job Description

You develop and review procurement policies, and systems for implementation in MINDEF/SAF. On this, you review and introduce procurement initiatives and systems for smooth implementation across all departments and review shortfalls/gaps for system-level solutions. You formulate and implement compliance programmes to ensure proper governance and control in the management of procurement processes and oversee compliance of the various procurement and logistics policies introduced in the department. This includes coordinating audit and certification activities, as well as harness data analytics for more in-depth analysis of procurement trends and potential risks. Your challenge lies in maintaining a deep and up-to-date understanding of all relevant government orders/instructions and procedures so that policy changes and process reviews can be promptly carried out, and to mitigate any financial risks or non-compliances.

You must have a tertiary qualification, with at least 3 years of relevant working experience in procurement or logistics field, policy writing and/or compliance role. Possession of strong analytical, problem-solving, presentation and communication skills are required. Appointment will be commensurate with your experience.
