Claims Management

  • Implement, communicate, and manage policies and procedures that will enable the claims organization to successfully deliver on the claims handling strategy.
  • Oversee and manage the entire claims handling process, working independently and through special projects
  • Aggressive control on losses and on claims Loss Adjustment Expenses
  • Provide claims support to various departments, regional claims office and other stakeholders
  • Analyses claims management data, identifies potential issues and liaises with stakeholders to address the issues.
  • Ensure strong Vendor Management and controls

People Management

  • Build a progressive culture in the Singapore Motor Claims team with focus on collaboration, teamwork, customer satisfaction and pursuit of excellence, sharing best practices across Asia Market;
  • Manage performance of team to deliver desired results, improvements and solutions
  • Provide strong guidance and leadership to and work on ongoing professional development of staff
  • Manage and maintain good relationships with clients, insurers and intermediaries

Project Management

  • Continuous assessment and review of policies and processes in claims handling to control fraud and claims leakage, and enhance our efficiency and competitive advantage
  • Propose and develop projects to improve performance, quality and reduce the cost of our claims.
  • Pursue innovation through digital tools and automation tools to improve the customer experience


  • Kept up to date on the latest developments in Claims Delivery Processes both locally and globally
  • Collaboration with Regional and Global Teams to apply and share best practices

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelors’ degree or above and/or holder of ACII/ANZII (Senior Associate) qualification
  • CGI qualification or equivalent
  • Good insurance knowledge with at least 8-10 years’ experience in motor insurance claims area inclusive of 3-5 years at managerial level
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good knowledge on pro-active Claims Management
  • Good interpretation skills
  • Strong leadership and team building skills
  • Good spoken and written communication skills
  • Experience with implementation of digital tools and automation
