The Role Responsibilities
This Portfolio Manager role in Client Coverage and Corporate Finance Technology is within Credit Origination Portfolio. Manager position which is key to the Governance and Management as well as Reporting for the delivery of enhancements across portfolio which include core applications like CreditMate.
CreditMate is the global Credit origination system for Corporate, Institutional, Commercial and Financial Institutions clients. It provides an integrated platform for various workflows in the credit origination and approval process.
Processes
The Portfolio Manager will be accountable for all financials aspect of the portfolio which include the end to end support of all Procurement including validation of SOW, the Approvals process, Accruals and full tracking of payments to vendors/partners for services rendered which are submitted to finance team for processing once all internal validation are completed. Portfolio level reporting of financials across the Programme and Project is also performed with analysis on future cost to identify potential cost saves across projects for similar deliverables enabling some rationalisation opportunities across the portfolio and ensure we remain aligned to the approved budget.
Risk Management
The Portfolio Manager will be responsible for provide project risk management oversight to ensure alignment with the Client Journey Management Standards across all aspect with daily check-ins with the individual Project Managers to ensure quality of the of all submissions to committees and working groups, as well AED Baseline Change Request, Progress Reports and Closure Reports are of the expected quality.
Governance
The Portfolio Manager will be accountable for ensuring the timesheets are completed by all billable members of portfolio each month in timely manner before the stipulated deadline so ensure all resource know where to book their time is essential.

Our Ideal Candidate
Training/Qualifications in Tableau or Power BI Reporting
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel, Word and PowerPoint including MS Project
Worked in supporting and delivering of IT projects in Banking/Financial services
Consult with Programme Governance Head on Management of Location Strategy and Responsible for Headcount onboarding and offboarding across all resource types and locations
Responsible for Producing Management Reporting across different themes from Financials, People, Risk data using Data visualisation Tools (i.e. Tableau, SAS, Microsoft PowerBI).
Partnering with the NEW/HR Teams to ensure compliance of all Headcount
Responsible for Managing Project Financials such as forecast, accruals and actuals of several medium and large projects and Programmes through a full lifecycle using standard processes.
Validating Team Forecasting Completion Monthly
Filing Project Accruals Monthly
Resource Allocation & Timesheet Management for the portfolio
Forecast updates in conjunction with the Project Manager all costs are correctly updated
Monthly Portfolio Finance View (Budget vs Actuals to Date vs RYF vs Forecast)
Responsible for supporting the Department Head and Programme Governance Head with team wide responsibilities covering:
SOW Validation
SOW Reminders against expiry date
Leave Consolidation across portfolio
Management of payments to vendors/partners for services rendered against SoW which are submitted to finance team for processing once all internal validation are completed.
Manage Consolidate Team Project Resource Tracker to ensure all staff are billable each month
Manage Business Travel Requirements for Department Head & Tracking of Request from Team to ensure compliance with bank process
Experienced in managing programs or a portfolio of projects and with Project Managers with ability to multitask in a busy environment
Experience of working with onshore and offshore execution teams
Experience of stakeholder management and general governance processes involved in large project and Programme delivery and production of appropriate stakeholder packs and communications.
Strong Communication skills, both verbally and in written form at all levels of authority
Ability to forward look at portfolio data points and provide insight to enable efficient gains
Experience in identifying any potential hot spots to allow for proactive remediation and where required escalating in timely fashion to Management.
Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
Knowledge and experience in financial and project management using the CA Clarity software
Knowledge and experience in using Confluence and JIRA product
Years of expereince - 4 years.
