The Role Responsibilities


The Resourcing Lead will be responsible for managing the end to end Resourcing for the HR Investment Portfolio.   This will require defining the HR Investment Resourcing strategy, defining the resource demand/capacity model and processes, overseeing recruitment, and designing onboarding / induction materials and career pathing.

Strategy and Approach

The role holder will be responsible for managing all aspects of the Resourcing across the HR Investment Portfolio :

Key Activities

Defining the resourcing strategy and principles for HR Investment-funded resources

Design and streamline the end to end resourcing processes across the HR investment portfolio, including demand and capacity planning and resource allocation. 

Establish an appropriate governance framework to promote transparency of the resourcing requirements across the difference programmes

Develop an end to end consolidated view of current state of resourcing, a clear view of pipeline and hiring status for each calendar year

Liaise with programme managers and GPS teams to understand demand for resources and capacity of existing teams.  Ensure and challenge capacity (under and over utilisation).

Lead the resource allocation (and re-allocation), assigning people to projects based on their skills, previous experience and availability.

Liaise with the Lead, HR Portfolio Financials and Programme Managers to ensure that hiring requirements align with allocated investment budget.

Identify the discrepancies to align the headcount numbers across different reports (Finance, GPS and the Master HR portfolio resource tracker) and ensure resources are tagged correctly to the portfolio

Oversee the Recruitment of all investment hires, including ensuring approvals for headcount are in place, ensure consistency of Job Descriptions in line with the Job Family Framework/Skills & Competenices Framework and tracking status of all open Job Requisitions.

Management of vendors (consultancy firms / agencies) and ensuring appropriate contracts/SOWs and invoicing in place.

Design and implement an onboarding / induction process and materials for all new investment hires

Design career paths and training plans for investment-funded resources, aligned with the Job Family Framework/Skills & Competenices Framework.

People and Talent

Promote and embed a culture of openness, trust and risk awareness, where ethical, legal, regulatory and policy compliant conduct is the norm

Guide, support and develop team members on change management approach and methodologies where required

Managing adherence to risk management protocols as it relates to internal and external events

Our Ideal Candidate

A proven track record in resource management, specifically on projects and with experience of designing and implementing capacity and demand models.   

10 years of resource management experience in investment change; prefer experience within a large international, dynamic organisation

Experience working within Human Resources and/or Financial Services preferable

Familiar with agile methodologies and ways of working

Evidence of prior experience managing and influencing stakeholders at senior levels

Excellent stakeholder engagement skills and ability to adapt to different styles according to target audience

Demonstrated a proven record of success at both an individual contributor and team leader, identifying and addressing stakeholder needs in the following areas:

Creating high quality presentations and other communications materials tailored to intended audiences

Demonstrating commitment to continuous improvement through innovation, simplification and leveraging industry-leading best practices

Communicating effectively via multiple channels and with impact to all levels of internal audience

Planning and executing complex processes and preparing users for changes across multiple geographies
