Job Description

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Apparel Cost Engineering’s purpose is to Drive Product Excellence Through Sustainable Cost Engineering.

In this role you will lead a global team responsible for creating the strategy, and developing and motivating the team responsible for:

•Costing Framework – Govern the costing structure and processes used by the Apparel and Accessories teams

•Costing Operations – Costing negotiation and operational support

•Costing Data & Analytics – Costing systems and data management support


WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

•Create Global Strategy and Vision for Apparel and Accessories Cost Engineering

•Set up cost parameters and standards across global source base

•Provide labor costing governance and measure performance

•Drive profitability and mitigate cost risk

•Lead and develop a global team of 21 FTEs

•Work within a complex matrix environment for continuous improvement at global scale


WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

You’ll be the lead of the Apparel Cost Engineering group, reporting to the VP - Apparel and Accessories Manufacturing based in Singapore. You will be partnering with a broad and diverse group of internal stakeholders from different functions including, but not limited to, cost margin, manufacturing, sourcing and product creation, as well as managing the interaction with the costing teams of our global suppliers.


WHAT YOU BRING

•Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, Engineering or a related field of study, MBA is a bonus

•Minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience

•Cross-functional project management experience, with ability to lead initiatives across multiple functions / geographies

•Curious, self-starter, and experience providing innovative ideas to solve problems

•Superior interpersonal skills and ability to work cross-functionally, and ability to build alignment

•Strong presentation skills, and excellent written and verbal communication skills, including development and delivery of presentations to senior leadership

•Analytically strong, detail oriented with robust organizational skills. Ability to understand and tell the story to a wide variety of audiences

•Proven capability to tolerate ambiguity in a constantly evolving environment

•Demonstrated ability of assessing, attracting, developing world class talents

•Ability to travel 30% of time
