Senior/Test Engineer (12-months contract)

The ideal candidate, a self-motivated, multi-tasker who has a strong sense of urgency and good communication skills, will perform functional/non-functional and regression testing for software applications.

Responsibilities

• Review functional specifications, prepare test plans, test specifications and procedure, test data and expected results
• Perform functional/non-functional and regression testing across System Integration Test and User Acceptance Test phases
• Capture and execute tests, record test results and defects,maintain traceability using Quality Centre test management tool
• Produce daily/weekly testing status reports and testing completion report at the end of each test phase
• Deliver a set of automated test cases for REST API and FIX API

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree Computer Science or any other related field
• Preferably 2-4 years of testing experience with knowledge of Java 
• Good understanding of the software development process/project lifecycle and strong knowledge of best practice testing methodologies
• Preferably with some experience in the following Test Phases and Test Types: including Test Phases: System Test, System Integration Test, User Acceptance Test; and Test Types: Functional, Non-Functional (e.g. Performance/Stress/Load/Security/Data Migration), End to End Business Scenarios, Regressions
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills with demonstrated ability to manage and execute multiple project timelines and priorities
• Team player who can work in an environment with multiple teams
