The Role Responsibilities

Due to increasing demand to deliver high quality solutions for our Business, we are looking for a UI/UX Designer within Risk Technology.

If you have strong passion in helping Business to discover their user’s journey and translating it to simple, effective and elegant solution, then we want you to join our team.


You are expected to collaborate closely with both Business and Technical teams and be responsible for conducting user and stakeholder research activities including user interviews, ideation sessions, usability studies and other user research techniques to inform a human-centred design. 


Collaborating with product management and engineering to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals and experience.


Executing all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering (process flows, sketches, scenarios, wireframes, navigation models, visual design).

Conceptualizing original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design roadblocks.

People and Talent

Collaborate with the Product Management teams and share learnings with wider designer communities within SCB.

Risk Management

Identify any risks or concerns with the design/requirements timely


Work with alignment to SCB branding and marketing strategies where required

Regulatory & Business Conduct

Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct.

Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.

Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.

Our Ideal Candidate

A Bachelor’s degree in Graphic/Digital Design.

5+ years of design experience with at least 1-2 lived product.

Proficient in design tools (e.g. SketchApp, Photoshop, Illustrator, inVision, Axure, etc)

User research, usability testing and prototyping knowledge.

Experience working in Agile Product Delivery process.

Experience with DesignOps is a plus.
