Job Description

This role is an essential member of the Finance Department, aids in completing accounts and administrative tasks in a timely and accurate manner. Providing support with skill and professionalism, this role will include a wide variety of administrative functions. The incumbent should be detailed-oriented and good with numbers, with high level of efficiency and able to organise and complete work efficiently and independently.

Accounts Scope

  • Book keeping for company accounts, including overseeing bank payments, bank reconciliation and monthly/yearly book closing with oversight from seniors.
  • Prepare, send and track invoices.
  • Prepare statement of accounts and tracking for receivables.
  • Handle monthly staff claims.
  • Prepare payments via various modes, including cheques, telegraphic transfers, FAST and interbank GIRO.
  • Assist preparation of yearly audit schedule.
  • Handle staff payroll including CPF submission, staff IR8A, etc.
  • Assist in keeping GST records for submission.
  • Assist matters related to Central Provident Fund (CPF).
  • Any other ad hoc duties assigned.

Admin Scope

  • Support the administrative tasks associated with operations.
  • Maintain staff annual leave and medical leave records.
  • Create and maintain filing systems, both electronics and physical.
  • Manage and order stationeries, pantry supplies and stock take.
  • Receive deliveries, sort and distribute mail.
  • Provide general administrative support within the Department.
  • Any other ad hoc duties assigned.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor degree or diploma, preferably in Accounting and Finance.
  • At least 1-2 Year(s) of work experience, preferably in Accounting.
  • Fresh graduates who are self-motivated and keen to learn would also be considered.
  • High degree of attention to detail.
  • Multi-tasker and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Competency in using computer software including Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Comfortable with routinely shifting demands.
