We are seeking an Application Specialist who will be responsible for providing field technical applications support to the Centralised Diagnostics and Point-of-Care Solutions (CPS) business area.
You are responsible for instrument and application troubleshooting, customer training, instrument commissioning and other matters pertaining to after sales service. You maintain high level of service standard by ensuring service calls are responded to promptly as per customers’ reasonable expectation. You establish and develop good rapport with customers, provide high quality after-sales service in a pro-active manner and this will also involve conducting on/off-site training as well as out-of-office hours and office telephone support.
In addition, you escalate and follow-up promptly on unsolved product issues to the global customer support team and communicate all applications issues through regular internal meetings to rectify customers’ issues.

You should ideally possess a Degree in Biomedical Science/Chemistry/Biology/Medical Technology or any related field, have at least 2 years of working experience, preferably in hospital setting. Knowledge of laboratory workflow will be an added advantage.
You are customer oriented with good communication and interpersonal skills. A team player, you are able to work with a myriad of people and willing to work outside normal office hours.
