Job Description

The candidate should be familiar with the current state-of-the-art technologies in Artificial Intelligence (AI), broad understanding of the AI ecosystem (particularly in the infocomm and media space) and have experience in managing/developing AI Products.


Key Responsibilities 

  1. Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners (both demand and supply side).

  2. Develop and manage product positioning strategies and business model with the objective of translation into viable business solutions for the industries in order to help them achieve new business potentials.

  3. Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and Product Lifecycle with feedback from the engineering team (DSL).

  4. Manage the Product Lifecycle from concept, design, prototyping, testing, cost, promotion, support and product end-of-life, through working closely with the engineering team (DSL).

  5. Ensure the adoption and propagation objectives of the product are met by managing and implementing activities to promote mindshare, etc.

  6. Manage IP agreements whenever required for product development, including the development and negotiation of commercial agreements, NDAs, transfer/licensing agreements, etc.



  1. Graduate or postgraduate background in engineering, computer engineering, computer science, mathematics, statistics or equivalent.

  2. 5 or more years of experience in product ownership/management roles with demonstrated abilities to drive product adoption and create mindshare for the product.

  3. Strong technical knowledge in AI, particularly in computer vision, speech, other forms of media analytics, and big data analytics would be advantageous.

  4. Good understanding of the latest research and technologies in AI

  5. Good understanding of the AI ecosystem from both demand-side as well as supply side, particularly the local scene.

  6. Experience in large-scale partnership, project and vendor management

  7. Team player with the ability to work in a cross functional team across multiple organisations.

  8. Excellent interpersonal skills 

  9. Able to communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical audience
