Due to our continuing growth, a fantastic new opportunity has arisen for an Associate Commercial Director – Asia Pacific (APAC) to join our team based in Singapore.

Reporting to the Regional Director – APAC, the Associate Commercial Director – APAC is responsible for identifying business development opportunities (with both existing and potential new clients) within the APAC region, working collaboratively with the Regional Director – APAC, Executive Director – Global Commercial, and Regional Business Leads to convert these opportunities into new accounts. You will define new business strategies and plans for the APAC region, as well as developing original and innovative business ideas to meet clients’ needs. In addition, you will conduct market analysis to identify regional new business opportunities and collaborate with senior management in the APAC region to build cross-functional teams, to prepare and present new business proposals, presentations and requests for information. The Associate Commercial Director – APAC will work as a strategic partner to clients and develop and maintain ongoing relationships with key industry contacts. Working collaboratively with our global Commercial team, you will manage new business materials and trackers, and prepare consistent financial estimates accordingly.

To succeed, you must have a BSc in life sciences, preferably combined with an MSc or PhD. You will also have extensive experience in a medical communications agency or pharmaceutical environment, coupled with strong business development experience (including writing proposals and pitching) and a proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue growth targets. In addition, you will have previous experience of working within the APAC region, as well as experience of collaborating with teams globally. You will have excellent communication and relationship building skills, with demonstrable experience of developing strong relationships with clients, industry contacts and internal stakeholders across all levels of the business.
