Job Description

- In charge of menu planning and food preparation in outlet kitchen

- Able to cook in large quantities

- Check stock inventory and work with Managers on the ordering of goods/ raw materials

- Ensure food served to customers are of consistently high quality

- Enforce food hygiene and workplace safety in kitchen

- Exercise good cost and inventory management practices and controls

- Assist junior chefs and managers in operating the kitchen whilst meeting company standards

- Involve in training new chef/ cook

- Strong knowledge in kitchen operations in institutional catering

- Understand various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
