Job Description:

• Assess children with learning and developmental issues identified by pre-school teachers using the prescribed screening tools
• Provides specific differentiated intervention method to the children in the areas of academic, behaviour learning, social and social communication skill
• Able to provides support, demonstration and skills transferred to early childhood educators to manage children with mild learning difficulties in typical classroom setting
• Integrates the various specialized therapeutic approaches into ongoing intervention and educational practice
• Periodically administers assessment and evaluate child’s learning with standardized early development tools
• Able to develops Individualized Education Plan (IEP) and progress report
• Works cooperatively with all families to support children’s learning and development
• To conduct internal training to both educational support and child development teams
• Work cooperatively with families and pre-schools to support children’s learning and development

Job Requirements:

• Possess at least a Diploma in Early Childhood Intervention (Special Needs) (ADECI) or Child Psychology and Early Education
• Registered with ECDA as a Childcare L1 or L2 Teacher
• Candidate who possess a Certificate in Special Needs Support (NIE) or in Autism (EIP) is a plus
• Possess relevant working experience in early intervention setting is a plus
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Possess good communication skills and the ability to engage children
• Nurturing and dedicated to the development and well-being of children
• Candidates who are able to commence soon is a plus
