1 Coordinate the recruitment of staff including advertising, liaison with employment agencies, administration of employment contracts, arrangement for work permits/passes, medical examinations, conduct orientation for new employees and exit interview for resignees, administer staff performance appraisal, counselling, disciplinary management and handling grievances.
2 Administer staff benefits such as insurance renewals, medical/dental claims, birthday vouchers, long service awards, planning of staff events.
3 Administer the time management system and keeping records of training hours.
4 Assist in the review of job description, HR processes and update SOPs.
5 Identify, develop and initiate staff training and learning programmes with a view of enhancing staff proficiency and professionalism in collaboration with the professional and supervisory staff.
6 Preparation and submission of periodic manpower reports including liaison with Government agencies such as MSF, NCSS, MOM on employment matters and Statistical Returns.
7 Assist in manpower planning, preparation and review of budget, Annual Reports etc.
8 Assist the Nursing Officers in the welfare and supervision of non-professional workers i.e. the Nursing Aides, Housekeepers etc. including periodic inspection of staff dormitories to ensure cleanliness, hygiene, compliance with Safety regulations and Home’s rules.
9 Administrative and secretarial support such as filing, recording minutes of meetings whenever required.
10 To perform any other reasonable duties required by the General Manager.
