Job Description


  • To respond to customer calls to troubleshoot technical problems of medical devices so as to achieve customers’ satisfaction in turnaround time and minimize downtime
  • To perform preventive maintenance as scheduled and highlight technical abnormalities to minimize equipment downtime
  • To clearly document the technical actions of problems resolved to maintain traceability
  • To manage spare parts inventory to ensure sufficient stocks on hand and smooth operations



  • Diploma or Degree in Biomedical / Electronics / Electrical Engineering


  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in the medical industry (especially IVD or hospital BME departments)
  • Demonstrated ability to diagnose and resolve problems on electronic and mechanical instrumentation

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Ability to read, interpret and analyze schematics, assembly drawings, and wiring diagrams
  • Ability to use standard test and calibration equipment including digital multimeter
  • Basic software skills and computer literacy (networking experience is advantageous)
  • Knowledge of service principles, practices, and procedures
  • Good verbal & written communications skills
  • Excellent customer service attitude
  • Able to be on 24/7 on-call duty (weekly rotation basis with the team), to be activated on weekends and “off hours” as required to support clients and business needs
  • Able to travel overseas for technical training by manufacturers (when international travel is permitted again)
