Job Description

You establish the framework for the management of accounts and access rights related to a human resource (HR) IT system (a SAP product). You evaluate the impact of changes to authorisation requirements, access controls, workflows, and routing needs, and advise end users accordingly. You ensure HR information remains available for critical users during system downtime under Business Continuity Planning (BCP), as well as manage and evaluate service requests, and propose solutions and changes where required. As the Subject Matter Expert (SME) in authorisation, you conduct reviews on system security settings, accounts and related issues. Your challenge lies in keeping abreast of MINDEF’s IT and HR policies, rules and procedures to develop suitable and comprehensive access control strategies to facilitate operations while fulfilling compliance.

You must have a tertiary qualification, preferably in Information Technology, and with an interest in SAP system security and authorisation. You are a team player who is willing to accept challenges. Experience in SAP authorisation, IT compliance, or cyber security is advantageous. Appointment will be commensurate with your experience.
