Manager (Continuous Monitoring)

You perform cyber threat monitoring for MINDEF networks. As part of investigations, you conduct triage and analyse network and host-based logs for containment and remediation of security incidents. You also provide technical and tactical assessments of network/system activities to support cyber threat assessment and cyber threat hunting efforts. Your challenge lies in the need to develop a deep understanding of MINDEF/SAF systems and networks so as to better manage and analyse the intrusion alerts and centralised log information, in order to make a quick assessment of the intrusion alerts detected.

You must have a tertiary qualification in information security, computer science or computing engineering or related field, preferably with at least 6 years relevant work experience in security operations centre or cyber investigations or security operations will be an added advantage. You must be self-motivated, proactive and take ownership to resolve problems. Possession of well-developed critical thinking, strong analytical and problem-solving skills is required. Appointment will be commensurate with your experience.
