The Workplace Management Team is part of the Development and Organisation Transformation Division.  We drive GovTech’s agile, bold and collaborative culture, to create transformative digital services and engineer a digital government to make lives better.  With deliberately designed physical workplaces, the team creates a culture where GovTechies deliver as one, simplify work processes and drive change as an engaged workforce.

Key Responsibilities:

Working as part of a team, you will manage GovTech’s facilities. This includes: 

- Establishing an effective and collaborative partnership with GovTech’s Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) Partner on the delivery of their services.  This would include hard and soft services.
- Monitoring the Partner’s performance, providing feedback and monitoring changes to their work processes.
- Overseeing and improving maintenance processes and policies, based on industry best practices.
- Develop and maintain a schedule to ensure services are delivered on time. 
- Prepare and oversee a capital expenditure budget and cash-flow 
- Processing the IFM Partner’s claims and invoices.
- Supporting the Organisation’s Safe Management Officer for Safe Management Measures.

 

How to Succeed:

- A good bachelor degree in Facilities Management / Real Estate or related discipline.
- At least 5 years of Corporate Real Estate working experience managing Facilities. Other experience in space portfolio management, managing leases and project management would aid in our considerations.
- Certified Fire Safety Manager
- Working experience in green mark / sustainability initiatives.
-    Strong stakeholder management skills to build influence and communicate effectively across diverse groups
-    Strong team-player, self-starter with strong sense of initiative, with ability to work with ambiguity and agility
-    Ability to manage vendors and partner diverse team members

 

Good to have skills:

- Preferably a certified Workplace, Health & Safety personnel.
- Working experience in emergency planning and business continuity, physical security, and/or implementing sensors, Internet of Things or robotics at workplaces.
