Job Description

You manage a team specialising in the analysis of budget requirements for projects. You ensure that funds are optimised and prudently expended across various portfolios. On it, you undertake the planning, allocation, monitoring, and release of funds according to project requirements. You compare trends and highlight issues which merit management attention, and assist in their resolution. You advise the project teams on procurement procedures in compliance with finance and procurement directives. You also conduct in-house audit checks, highlight non-compliance and recommend solutions. Your challenge lies with working closely with different stakeholders to ensure that projects meet organisational needs within budget and timeline.

You must have a tertiary qualification, preferably in accounting, finance, banking, or business administration. Possession of a positive work attitude, good interpersonal, organisational, time-management and leadership skills is a must. Experience in using data analytics for budget / funds planning is advantageous. Appointment will commensurate with your experience.
