Oh My Goodness! is a rapidly growing high potential food production startup

specialising in manufacturing and supplying the market with good gluten-free, dairy-free and refined sugar-free food.

1) Role & Prospects

To enable and manage the company’s procurement, production and fulfilment process, with specific attention to supply chain and quality management to achieve maximized customer satisfaction


You will be responsible for the following but not limited to:

  • optimized production planning, identifying and rectifying bottlenecks and impediments to smooth production flow including day-to-day troubleshooting
  • supply chain management, ensuring raw materials are procured in accordance to cost/gross margin KPIs
  • material forecast accuracy and material purchases (direct and indirect) by means of evaluating plant capacity to meet both short and long term production forecasts, and integrate these requirements into capital planning
  • on-time distribution and fulfilment processes in accordance to relevant customer needs and regulatory/quality requirements, including in-house logistics processes and implementation of new technology and automation
  • embedding of quality and assurance in operations processes in accordance to certification requirements including compliance, audits and renewals
  • operationally lead, nurture and grow production team, including training and professional development
  • assessment of manufacturing performance, productivity and capacity with the aim of determining need for shift to new plant and designing new plant to meet growth needs

This role gives you the opportunity to become the second key operations team member to lead and drive the most crucial part of a growing business and manage a passionate and eager-to-grow team. Throughout your time at the company, you will have all the guidance and support needed from the Founder with whom you will work closely and whose responsibilities will shift towards a focus on finance, business development, marketing and HR.

Full-time, Permanent


3) Remuneration Package

  • Salary + equity (vested for 4 years) + discretionary bonus (pending company’s performance)

5) Start Date & Training

  • Start date: ASAP
  • On-boarding: First two weeks
  • Probation and training: 12 weeks

6) Location

Based in Singapore

Located mainly at Oh My Goodness! Production Kitchen @ Mandai Link, with local travel to meet suppliers, customers as needed


7) Background, Skills & Personality Traits Required

Your background:

  • § Degree/diploma in industrial engineering with 2-4 years’ experience in food manufacturing, end-to-end supply chain and plant management, ideally in a GMP manufacturing/food production environment
  • Experience with budgeting and financial analysis with the goal of controlling expenses effectively is a must
  • Education or experience in business management is a plus
  • Experience in managing and growing a team is a plus
  • Ability to leverage on existing/previous networks to identify future suppliers, vendors, partners in the food manufacturing/processing industry both locally and internationally is a plus
  • Understanding of or experience with a startup and its inherent chaos and challenges (e.g. cashflow or lack thereof, need for quick, strategic decision-making) is a plus
  • Experience with and good understanding of ERP systems suited to startups is a plus
  • Proven track record in strategic planning skills, with solution-oriented mindset
  • Ability to identify and streamline existing operational processes in line with business growth targets
  • Well-organised and careful in work, word and thought with an eye for detail and commitment to timelines/deadlines
