Programme Executive (KidSTART -Child Enabling)

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance to children and families, and provide knowledge and skills to KidSTART families with children in preschools
• Develop holistic child-centric case plans for each child with moderate/high needs and provide monitoring and follow up to address any barriers to regular preschool attendance support from intake until child graduates from programme
• Convene case conferences, where necessary, and coordinate support for children and their families at a systemic and case level
• Conduct sharing sessions with Preschool staff on ways to engage low-income families
• Engage parents with knowledge and skills
• Organise sharing sessions for parents of KidSTART children in preschools
• Provide last mile delivery of support to families

Requirements

• Degree or higher certification in social work and/or early childhood education or equivalent
• Preferably with 2 years’ experience in social service or early childhood
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Service oriented, team player and adaptable to changes
• Proactive, resourceful and organised
• Passionate about working with children and families
• This position is on contract basis
