Job Description

Lead and provide supervisory role in:

  • Funds planning and utilisation to ensure efficient use of funding
  • Scanning, research, and key stakeholders engagement to identify training trends and needs
  1. Conduct environmental and horizontal scanning to keep up to date on the latest trends in mental health and dementia practice
  2. Understand the mental health system and identify gaps in skills of our Community Mental Health and Long-Term Care partners
  3. Engage key stakeholders and service providers to understand the training and service landscape, learning needs, and prioritize training programmes, where relevant
  • Planning and developmentLead in the development of structured training curriculum and coordinate specialised training events for professionals, para-professionals, and community such as mental health awareness for social service agencies, upskilling of home help workers to communicate and engage people with dementia, caregivers education, etc.
  1. Lead in developing specialised competency framework and standardised training to build standards and quality assurance
  2. Lead in quality assessment and skills of our partners to be able to provide quality care to clients and caregivers
  • Other AIC/Division work
  1. Provide guidance to CCMHD and other divisions in developing relevant training courses for clients with mental health conditions and their caregivers to support them in reintegration
