Job Description:

  • Source for vendor and quotations, recommend alternatives solutions or products to meet customer’s requirement, negotiate and perform cost versus quality analysis
  • Involve in negotiations, evaluating quotations/tender submissions, and preparing PR & PO.
  • Perform daily operational purchasing matters and coordinate shipping documentation, logistics and schedules.
  • Maintain good relationship with vendors and develop new network
  • Liaise with vendors on quality issues or any discrepancies
  • Liaise with stakeholders, arranges and conducts meetings with vendors.
  • Managing contracts and vendors to ensure the fulfilment of all purchases, deliverables and service levels.
  • Monitor contracts/agreements renewal period, variation orders & vendor management.
  • Ensure product specifications are received/updated and passed down to the respective departments
  • Review stock inventory to ensure sufficient stock level is maintained
  • Co-ordinate with internal departments/vendors/logistic to track deliveries and verify on quantity & quality of received items
  • Ad-hoc duties assigned by the Head of department

Job Requirement:

  • Candidates must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in any field
  • With 2-3 Year(s) of working experience in relevant field, preferably in food services industry
  • Self-motivated and ability to work independently with minimum supervision
  • Strong communication & negotiation skill, ability to work under tight deadlines
