Job Description

Overview

You will be responsible to provide personalized, specialised and cost-effective care to the patients in accordance to established hospital policies and procedures, standards of nursing care and practices.

Job Responsibilities

· Coordinates and organize daily listing of endoscopy procedures

· Maintains a clean and safe Endoscopy room for the patients

· Prepares Endoscopy procedure room for procedures by preparing appropriate equipment and supplies

· Perform pre-test on the equipment and AV system for effective functioning

· Perform pre-procedure assessment for Endoscopy patients

· Perform intravenous cannulation for Endoscope patients

· Prepare and administer prescribed medications according to hospital protocol

· Assist doctor in performing Endoscopes procedures

· Assists collection, handling, dispatch and documentation of specimens

· Perform pre, intra and post procedure monitoring of patient according to hospital protocol

· Perform pre and post procedure handover of patients according to hospital policy

· Discharge patient in accordance to discharge criteria

Requirements

· Registered Nurse with the Singapore Nursing Board (SNB)

· At least 2 years relevant in Endoscopy is highly preferred

· Diploma or Degree in Nursing from recognized training institutions approved by SNB

· Good interpersonal and communication skills

· Compassionate, positive and caring nature

· Prepared to work on 3 rotating shifts
