Grab partners with IMDA, DISG to strengthen Singapore’s tech ecosystem
(*NEW) 25 February 2021 - Grab has signed a memorandum of intent with IMDA and DISG to support the development of Singapore's tech ecosystem, through the development of its tech talent and R&D capabilities here. The MOI will see Grab working with IMDA and DISG to grow its core product and engineering teams' capabilities through the support of talent development programmes such as the TechSkills Accelerator. 10 February 2021 - Singtel partners IMDA, academia to build strong talent pipeline in 5G and emerging technologies in areas such as the Internet of Things, cloud engineering and data analytics. Microsoft and Generation partners Singapore Government to launch #GetReadySG to upskill and boost employment for 1,000 Singaporeans
10 December 2020 - Microsoft and Generation are partnering DISG, IMDA and SSG to launch #GetReadySG to upskill and boost employment for 1,000 Singaporeans. This is the first public-private sector collaboration with a technology player and a global non-profit organisation to bridge holistic training in both hard and soft skills with employment. Participants will be trained in job roles such as Full Stack Developer, Data Engineer/Analyst, Cloud Support and DevOps Practitioner.
