What to expect

As an Application Engineer, you are expected to:

· Write clean, readable and consistent code

· Work with Product Manager to craft user stories by providing technical analysis and brainstorm new ideas

· Work towards understanding user needs and introducing ICT products

· Ability to work as a team 

How to succeed

· Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering or related disciplines node JS, SQL)

· At least 2 years working experience in .Net/ Web application development using Microsoft technologies

· Hands-on experience in Android / iOS mobile application development

· Knowledge in Microsoft Azure Stack (SQL, WebApp, APIApp, Storage, CDN)

· Familiar with:

o  Front end languages (HTML, CSS, ReactJS)

o  Back end application, creation/maintenance of APIs (python, php,

o  Databases (SQL and nonSQL)

o  Caldav calendar protocol

o  CI/CD (Continuous Integration/ Continuous Deployment)

· Ability to conceptualize and delivery of innovation/technologies via Proof of concept projects

· Understand UI patterns for Web and Mobile interfaces

· Passion and belief in GovTech core values – Agile, Bold and Collaborative
