We are seeking an Assistant Director (Talent Acquisition) to cultivate the engineering and tech talent communities and network for DSTA and work with the hiring managers to bring in the potential hires. You are driven and well verse in people analytics and will leverage AI to optimise hiring effectiveness and candidates’ experience. In this role, you will :

  • Review and execute talent acquisition and cultivation strategy to expand the talent pool reviews
  • Develop new initiatives to promote DSTA’s visibility among overseas talents through tech sharing events
  • Create programmes to engage engineering and tech talents to co-create engineering/digital solutions with DSTA
  • Work collaboratively with the programme centres to sharpen technical assessment tools for candidate selection



  • 6 to 8 years of relevant experience, preferably within the technology industry
  • Demonstrable track record in talent acquisition, executive recruiting, building and delivering applicant pipelines, planning/executing strategy will be advantageous
  • A team player who is adaptable and works well in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Thrives on building trust, relationships and community
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
