Job Description

You plan, lead and execute advanced cyber vulnerability assessment operations for MINDEF/SAF networks. You ensure that all critical findings which may compromise the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of MINDEF/SAF networks are reported, escalated, and rectified in a timely manner. You also ensure that newly deployed systems/ non-enterprise systems/ outsourced systems are regularly scanned for vulnerabilities, and perform dedicated in-depth vulnerability assessment (VA) programs, and support cyber security efforts at the National and Defence Cluster level. Your challenge lies developing a deep understanding of MINDEF/SAF networks and systems so as to prioritise more critical vulnerabilities that have a direct impact on MINDEF/SAF systems, and reporting vulnerabilities and exploits as quickly as possible so that they can be fixed expeditiously.

You must have a tertiary qualification in information security, computer science, computer engineering or related field, with at least 6 years relevant working experience in security operations centre or cyber security related industry. You should possess at least one professional certification or industry recognised qualification related to cyber incident handling, intrusion analysis, or perimeter protection, e.g. GCIH, GCIA, GPPA. You must be self-motivated, proactive and take ownership to resolve problems. Possession of well-developed critical thinking, strong analytical and problem-solving skills is required. Having experience in incident response management, security monitoring, cyber investigations or security operations is advantageous.
